A nutshell description of using GradeL goes
something like this. Create a new gradebook file. This file constitutes one full year (two
semesters, four marking periods) of a single class. Add students to the file. Add assignments
to the file. Set up grading scale and codes. Add student scores. Print reports.
GradeL is designed to allow users to complete many tasks without using the menu bar. For
example, to edit a student's name, just click it. A text entry will appear and allow you to
make changes. Remember to press enter to record your change. This technique works with the
score cells as well. To edit assignment, just double click on the appropriate assignment header.
